I built Affinity because I watched the same thing happen for years. Someone joins a signals group, copies trades they do not understand, has a good week, then a bad week wipes it out. They blame the group, join another one, and repeat. The group was never the real problem. The model was.
The copy-paste trap
A signal with no reasoning teaches you nothing. You do not know why the entry is there, where the idea is wrong, or when to manage it. So when the trade moves against you, you freeze or panic, because it was never your trade. You borrowed someone else's conviction, and conviction is not transferable.
What actually makes traders profitable
- Understanding the reason behind every trade you take.
- Risking a small, fixed amount so no single trade can hurt you.
- Reviewing your trades honestly, including the winners you fluked.
- Having someone experienced answer your questions when you are stuck.
What to look for instead
If you are judging any trading community, including ours, ask these questions. Do they explain why, or just what? Do they show losses as openly as wins? Is there real education, or just a feed of entries? Can you talk to the person calling the trades?
Our answer is simple: every setup comes with the reasoning, the stop and the targets. The weekly calls exist so you can ask why until it clicks. The goal is not to keep you dependent on us. The goal is the day you read the market yourself and do not need anyone's signal, including mine.
